1. Give Your Online Listing a Makeover: Buyers do much of their searching online, so experts suggest your home has an online listing that includes the latest information and attractive photos that will highlight architectural features such as a fireplace, dining room, bay window, or a sweeping staircase.

2. Be Flexible with Showings: You’ll want to make your home is available to potential buyers for last-minute and short-notice showings, and be sure to keep the home clutter-free. The more open, available, and flexible you are as a homeowner for showings, the more your home will be seen, while improving your chances for a sale.

3. Have Your Home Pre-Inspected Before You List Having: Your home pre-inspected will make your house more marketable, while putting buyers more at ease about making an offer. And, by identifying any issues and having them fixed before you list, the faster its likely to sell. Also, a pre-inspection will reflect all of the improvements and upgrades you’ve made, making it more desirable to buyers.

4. Improve Your Home’s Curb Appeal Maintaining: The exterior of your home is key to attracting potential buyers, so you may need to touch up the paint, clean the gutters, and spruce up the yard. You may want to consider painting the front door, adding a decorative welcome mat, or hanging a decorative wreath. And don't forget to show off any outdoor features such as a fire pit or hot tub.

5. Offer Incentives: It’s always helpful to be flexible with negotiations. To encourage buyers, you may consider offering a variety of incentives, ranging from updated appliances to paying closing costs. You could also offer extras like televisions or other household items you don’t want to take with you.
